Hello!

Got back the prelim results today...
The results weren't too bad but they weren't awesome either (T.T)

Anyway, in order to get into the JC most within reach right now I must ensure that my prelim results decrease to at least 11. Subtracting 4 from 11, I will have 7 points which should be sufficient to get into ACJC.

Haix....

My results are as folows :
  • English - A2 [ 71+]
  • A-Math - A2 [73+]
  • E-Math - B3 [69+]
  • Biology - A2 [73+]
  • Chemistry - *unknown* [Lol.... We haven't received P2 yet... =.=]
  • Physics - A1 [ 80 ]
  • Geography - B3 [ 65]
  • Social Studies - E8 [44]
  • Combined Humanities - C6 [54+]

Hence my L1R5 = 16 (TT.TT) Of course that's assuming my chemistry is more poorly than my e-math.... haix...

To obtain an 11 the followin subjects must decrease by at least this figure:

  • English - 1
  • A-Math - 1
  • Combined Humanities - 3

Naturally other combinations would work as well but that's what I'm going to focus on to obtain my 11. Lol... Haix...The hardships of a student... =.=

Lol...

Hello!! This is my submission for the GM publication. Yes I know its looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong overdue but I simply kept forgetting to submit it. Hehex... Anyway I proudly present.....

Mirror

I have a special purpose in life for I am a mirror. For many years, I have been a mirror, reflecting the world for the one who cares to look.

Look at me, and you will see a somewhat attractive woman. Auburn locks cascading towards a lean body clothed in simple shirts and jeans. The same locks frame a face with sculpted cheekbones and more notably, endless ebony pools. What you do not see, however, is that those eyes function, not only for me, but for a person so intriguing, riveting and perplexing that he has fascinated me and changed my view upon the world, for the rest of eternity.

Dear Jayden is considered blind, for he can see merely smudges of the world. I care not, for he has me, his friend, his companion and his mirror. “Katie!” he would often call out to me, “What is that over there?” He looks to me, and I show him, reflecting the world that has surpassed and escaped his woefully inadequate eyes.

“A blue finch,” I say, or perhaps “a scarlet rose” or “saffron skies”. Often, we will wander in the park for hours on end, simply enjoying the world as it is. Though he may be considered blind by the condition of his eyes, I know that he is anything but. For when I describe all the astonishing visual wonders of the world, he contemplates them, and gives me another perspective; another way to regard them and my own world becomes even more colourful than before.

It often comes to me, upon these walks, that I am not the only mirror. For him, too, shows me what I might not have seen had I not looked within him, and he gives me a perspective attainable only by looking into the glass of his chalky eyes. I am a mirror, and he is as well—only when I look into him, I see not the physical, but the essence of whatever the entity may be.

More often than not, I fall into the simple habit of thinking of nothing but the outward visuals of the world. I am but a simple woman, and I have no need or truly possess much insight into reality. Description is more than enough for me, but for him—oh, for him!—it is but a beginning. He looks into me, and what he sees gives him a picture of the world, as I look into him and only begin to comprehend and see the whole new universe that lies beneath the naked eye.

I am a mirror. I reflect what must be seen by this precious, special man who cannot see it. Within my exterior is a reflection of the world that Jayden somehow sees marvellously clearly by me. By him, I gain more than I could ever imagine as my dull simple world of colours is bestowed definition.

Though I may reflect the world to him, he reflects the intrinsic nature of things to me. As I am his mirror of the natural world, he is my mirror of the true reality. Whoever said the blind could not see was blind.

Even now, I cannot profess to understand it.

END

So what do you think? Lol... Its rather weird, but what the heck! >.< Constructive comments would be greatly appreciated!! ^.^

Ciao!
